Minister of health (stealth?)

I wrote this letter to the minister of health. I also got on to another hot topic which is not relevant to mental health, however it is related in that a feeling of injustice in the world I feel does cause suffering to people.

Please read this article (http://blackdogtribe.com/news-features/why-mental-health-political-issue#comment-110614)
Almost everyone in the mental health field seems to believe that ALL mental health problems are down to the individual to adapt to. i.e. it's the person's responsibility to adapt or change.
This sounds great doesn't it.
However it is time that people realise that our modern society is making people mentally unwell. If 1 in 4 people suffer from mental health issues then it becomes absolutely untenable to deny that society is creating mental health issues.
However it is in your interests (and indeed all those in power) to maintain the delusion that there's nothing wrong with society and it's all down to the individual.
i.e. it's not social problems that cause mental health issues, it's actually just a chemical imbalance or stress. Have you noticed that both these terms don't point the finger of blame fairly.
I believe that it's a two-way situation. Society AND individuals need to change and adapt when mental health occurs.
The bankers caused so much distress in the world and yet they have been 'let off' for the most part. And now people are bashing the vulnerable people in society. People should be bashing the bankers NOT the vulnerable.
The propaganda spread by those in power, via the media, has clearly worked. Well done you should be proud of yourselves. More lives destroyed by those who lie firmly on the psychopathic spectrum.
The Daily Mail and other 'rags' spread hatred towards the vulnerable.
People should direct blame and punishment directly at the bankers and the governments who abused the financial system.
I thought a legal system was in place to damage people who cause harm to others in society? i.e. if someone physically attacks someone or steals money off someone then they are judged and punished.
However check out these scenarios and contemplate what happens in regards to the legal system:
1. Someone sells a hand gun on the street.
2. An arms dealer sells a bazooka or high end weapons system capable of killing thousands of people.
3. Someone steals £50 off someone.
4. A group of bankers cause billions (maybe trillions) worth of damage financially, and they also cause untold emotional distress to millions of people across the world, and cause untold suicides.
Have you noticed someone? It seems the ordinary 'plebs' get sentenced (fairly so) but the ones in power get let off almost completely often with an enormous paycheck.
Can you see an issue here? It seems that there is one law for those in power and another for us plebs.
Things need to change.

I think that people with mental health need to start demanding that certain areas of society change. Those in power don't care about us plebs.

As I said in a previous post, some people have said that depression is just 'learned helplessness'. If this is the case then learning to assert ourselves is the way out of this depressive state. So standing up to those in power to demand that certain parts of society change in order to improve the mental health and general well being for the masses is a must.

You are either with me or you're not! Don't let the bastards get you down.
